Lol you have PLENTY of time to plan. Your not going to get it in the 4-6 week he says

I think I read on a thread that someone was using the drawer, but thought I saw someone using the deck and said it was close but fit.

Yeah, he told me three weeks, I joked and said two months. He insisted three weeks. I am still counting on August arrival.

Lol maybe he had some canceled orders. It takes at least a week just to ship. 2-3 days in Canada, 2-4 days in San Francisco and 1-3 to get to you.

Btw, since he will likely forget to tell you, your roll bar cover will ship in a separate box, so when he calls to say your top is shipped, ask for the shipping number for the roll bar cover as well. Bet he says its not finished and will ship soon lol

Finally got to install the cargo top today, now that i have all the parts. Still took 3 hours (less time than last time. Well it didn't take 3, it actually took 1 1/2 to maybe 2 at most. The rest if the time was getting all the seals lined up netter. Will probably line up better tomorrow afternoon since it will be 91 before the cold front comes in Friday evening (thank god), don't like heat.
Pictures will be posted tomorrow afternoon. I'll be doing several so I can show the things I like, don't like and the things that are irking the crap out of me!

What I Don't Like:
What it does with the seatbelt and the back window.

I forgot to mention, I hate the rear seatbelt deal also. The weight of the belt rest on the window and stretches it out. Easy for water to get in if you wash it, but not too bad with natural rain. It's also a mission to try and get them to retract.

Sweet looking Jeep by the way.

Thanks. I think I'm going to take clear contact paper (plastic) cut a whole int the center big enough for the belt to go in and out of and but a liquid rubber around that and let it dry and the stick it over the whole. Should make it more water tight and keep it from stretching it.

Did somebody end up posting homemade instructions? There are several threads on ORH tops so it is getting difficult to navigate. Thanks.

Wow this top is loud! Even at 35mph you have to raise your voice and at 60 your yelling

Thank you! Every time I say that it's loud I get a bunch of replies from ORH top owners saying its no louder than the OEM top. I cant imagine anything louder short of using a garbage bag for a soft top, It's quieter with doors and roof off.

Lets try something less subjective. What does everybody have their radio volume set to when they drive with the ORH top vs their OEM top?

My OEM top is a premium soft top and at 75 mph I have my volume set to about 40%. With ORH top on its at about 90%. To me, that's what I consider loud. The drumming starts at 35 mph.

usually 14 with hard top on and 15-16 (430n) with ORH Cargo on. I rarely drive above 68 mph though to hard on mpg

Usually at least 30 so I can hear it. If I have the front top off then its not as loud so I can have it at 20. With my hardtop 12-14.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look. While my experience was soured by the level of service, lies, forgetting to ship everything, broken bolts, bad and wrong instructions, being a PITA to install and holes in the back windows with seat belts exposed, I like the top and get complimented constantly. My top is VERY loud when fully on. To the point that you have you heavily raise your voice from 30-40mph, it's louder 40-55 and at 55 and above, it is defining and you can't talk and you can barely hear the radio turned up to 30 (afraid to go higher than that).
The front top unrolled isn't that bad as long as the windows are down about 30%. Even at 80 (we have speed limits that reach 85 mph in Texas on I-20) you can have a conversation.

My friend has a factory soft top on their 2011 JKU and its far quieter than my ORH.

My noise is the top over the back seat flapping. It's tight but flaps. I'm considering making a bow out of PVC to eliminate it.

Just got the call, two packages are shipped. I hope to have them next week. Not too bad, ordered on May 22nd, was told three weeks, I expected two months. So five weeks is good from what other people have had to deal with.

Strange, I just checked the shipping numbers given to me and both Packages are sitting in Dublin OH. One says it will be delivered on Wednesday and the other on Saturday. Shipping USPS. Maybe things are improving with the company. Now I am like a kid on Christmas Day.

OP: I sliced a thick piece of air conditioning weather-seal halfway down the middle, and inserted the top of the rear window into the weather-seal. MUCH quieter & it sits soundly. I also got thinner a/c weather seal and place it along the top of the sound bar (above front seats) to prevent the top flapping off the sound bar.

I hate the seatbelt thing too.....but I park in a parking garage so it isn't too bad.

First package arrived, it is the small one. The return address is in Dublin, OH. and is not the same name.

Installed mine on Sunday, a nice 85 degree, humid day. Took me and a buddy about three hours to install. Don't worry about the white door. We had to test fit doors and mine were in my garage so we used his.

I will say it is louder than the soft top but no where near as loud if the top was removed. I am also wondering what to do with the rear window with the seatbelt slit.

That's why I sold mine after 1 day. I'm glad I kept my hard top.

What did you get for yours? I have mine for $1000 obo. Today was the first day it's been up and I have gotten a lot of calls but no one will pay more than 750. I'm not willing to go that low since it was $1200 after tax and $185 shipping. Top was on for something 2 months. Looks awesome, but I guess I'm not a soft top person.

A lot of people are I retested in my light bar too but they want to trade and no one has anything worth trading. So far. Only asking 625 on it and they are 825.
