Offroad risk before regear?

What risks to I run for damage off roading prior to regearing for 35s? I haven't paid off the lift and tires yet but I'm itching to go out and play but everywhere talks about how important regearing is (first Jeep).
Thanks

You won't do damage by being undergeared- you'll just stall more often in slow spots. As for rear end, it's a JK, so Dana 44- Mark W.
