As we speak, I just finished changing my oil. I have only used Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 5W-20 w/ Mobil's M1-102 oil filter. No reason just like Mobil's products.

I like what ever kind autozone or advance auto offers in their oil change special during whatever month I buy it where you get the 5 qt jug and a filter for around $17.

I usually go with K & N because they have the nut on the end that you can remove with a socket.

But since the 3.6L in the 2012 has a cartridge filter, it got me thinking as to what is available out there. I found these brands and part numbers for those interested:

Mopar MO-744
Wix 57144
Purolator L36135
Fram CH10955
Mobil 1 P990
K&N no listing

Feel free to add if you know of others.

Dont quote me on this but I believe NAPA filters are made by WIX. Amsoil also sells WIX filters.
5W-20 is the correct oil.

They invented the spin-on, and improve them as needed.

NAPA GOLD. made by Wix. They usually have a spring sale March/
April, varies by State. Generally 50-60% off.
I have 6 vehicles and buy my annual requirements for each during the spring sale every year.

For those of you Wix lovers out there, Wix makes the Mopar filter.

Take it to autozone or the like. They accept it. Basically anywhere that sells it takes it. Even walmart,

Oh and I read a nice write up on fram filters and that's all I'll run. With mobil one full synthetic oil
