Talking OK, fess up!

Who spends more time reading/posting on the forum than actually driving your Jeep?

Not me believe it or not.

I have had my 2012 JKUS for 112 days and have driven it 8,400 miles or and average of 75 miles a day, mostly on back roads except for one trip to Dallas, Waco and back to Deep East Texas.

No way I am on here that long.

How bout you........hmmm?

I'm guilty, between all the severe weather and work, I haven't had a chance to play. Soon, very soon, I hope.

I admit, I do. I am a stay at he dad during the day while my wife works, then I work from home when she gets home. I have found myself going all week without even leaving the house, getting the mail doesn't count. When it gets warmer, I will definitely be getting out more, even if it is to take the kids to the park or zoo. April will be a year since I bought the Jeep and I have a little more than 4000 miles on it.

Heck, I am going wheelin' again Saturday, after being out on the trail last Saturday. I am getting more off-road than off-road hours behind the wheel.

On average I hit 60 miles a day. I love my jeep... Even if she does spit fluids at me!

Don't get me wrong, I do "work" but spend my down time cruising through the threads here. It's a hard job but someone has to do it.

Take a look at how many posts people have and their join date. You get an idea of approximate posts per day. It is pretty clear who talks a lot and drives a little. This is in addition to the time that is spent shopping for black wheels, bedliner, plastidip, and 303. How can there be that much time?

It's been 10 days since delivery and I am averaging 40 miles a day. It's only 10 miles round trip to work. I've been spending a few hours a day reading this forum almost every day since I placed my order. I want to learn everything I can about my new Jeep, and this place certainly is worth the time to read. So I guess that means I do spend more time reading than driving. I'm Guilty!

I will admit it....right now I do. Going through the order process. Have been waiting 3 weeks and have about 5 more to go. Reading helps pass the time but it is taking forever!

Guilty
Work from home and only put on about 30 miles a week unless I'm traveling then a round trip to the airport is 120 miles. I did get to take my daughter to work Wednesday in our first meaningful snowstorm which was my first chance to try out my duratracs and 4hi both did great

I bought mine on December 3rd and now have just under 12000 miles. My wife thinks I'm just trying to hurry up and wear out the tires so I can go bigger. She may be right.

I'm guilty of spending far more time here than driving my new toy. Got it 4 months ago, has 1842 miles ( 700 from 2 weekend trips ) Best part is knowing I can take it out whenever I feel the need. I think it raises my property value as it sits in my driveway

I guess I'm lucky. My job lets me drive my Jeep, mainly on back roads. And I get re-reimbursed $0.555 per mile

Lucky bastage.

Well, I'm heading out to put some FU miles on the Jeep, maybe pick up a 1/2 inch breaker bar somewhere.

I love Saturdays when I don't have to work.

I average 1,000 work miles a week in a Toyota Matrix (driving is not my work just driving to work) but somehow have still managed to put 6,200 miles on my JKU since I got it this past November.

I am envious of tomthbomb!
