OME 2" suspension lift question

Hi, I'm thinking of putting this lift on, but was wondering if it would need anything else?....Or would I be better off going with something like the Teraflex 2.5" budget boost with shocks?...seems there are more brackets etc with this kit
Oh its going on a 2012 sport

TF is a great company.

You can get the budget boost with or without shocks. If you have a Rubi Or upgraded gas shocks you can do without new ones and use the extensions/brackets. Choice is yours

I have the OME HD springs with some shocks and mine drives perfect on 35's. No brackets or Arms, but I will be getting arms soon.

I have the OME HD Lift, the only thing I can recommend to add if you are running 35" tires is a steering stabilizer. Also if you dont have a steel front and rear bumper it will sit higher than 2". It will be closer to 3+" without extra weight. At that height you may have driveshaft issues if you plan to not add bumpers/winch/extra weight till later. The lift kit is great though, rides smooth and definitely gives you a good solid lift for the $$. It is rather costly and you could save some money and go with a cheaper solution. I did not need the LCA's, but added them anyways. But at some point I will be adding more lift and will need more parts lol. Once it starts it never ends

I forgot which person on the forums once said this but here you go:

Why go super cheap on your suspension? Your life rides on it.

Not trashing TF or anyone else but dont go the super cheap route is all I will say. Enjoy the lift and enjoy public lands. Leave no trace!

You consider TF "cheap"?

TF is a great company. They really go that extra mile to help you. I installed the 2.5 coil lift and had a leveling issue. TF sent me FREE 1" guide spacers for the back to raise it up a little. No questions asked.

Ya... I tried saving some money going with TF's 2.5 kit w/o shocks and extensions.
3 months later- I now installed their front LCA's/TB and shocks-who knows what is next-never ends lol
If I could go back, I most likely would have saved some money-in the long run- and bought a more complete kit

Rock crawler and Full Traction are another 2 very popular company's.

OME 2" HD lift rocks! Handles great on and off road.

If you want to run 35" tires get the OME bump stops and steering stabilizer.
Works just fine.

i've yet to see any teraflex systems flex like this and the ride quality is great.

i know teraflex has quality suspensions but ome in my experience is a better go.

I do not consider cheap. I am referring to the idea of cutting corners as you pointed out you upgraded shortly after. That is what I meant. No TF makes great lifts and lots of people love them, but other no name brands can give you big lifts for little $$ but it will cost you more in the end is what I mean. And why risk your life on something with no reviews and or name for quality? That was the reasoning of my statement. Been riding all day + watching hockey game, pardon the delay in response.
