Love amazon with free shipping on Prime. Prime paid for itself when we bought our bumpers.

I've ordered from Quadratec without any of the problems that other people are talking about today.

Allthingsjeep.com for tshirts, hoodies, hats, etc..

JeepHut.com for Mike's new wheels in December. They had the BEST price anywhere, and free shipping.

I start with the "For Sale" section of this forum first! I've gotten a few great deals from awesome members and saved a bunch by buying used. For new stuff I've ordered a few things from Quadratec. Free shipping with PROMO codes and competitive prices; there have been a few hiccups, but they've always made it right.

I use jeep4x4center.com. I've had all good experiences. Site is easy to navigate and you can always find what you want. I've checked out quadratec.com also. But the things that I've bought... the prices at jeep4x4center are a little cheaper. Have fun shopping!

Sorry, I should have mentioned this in my original post...

Make sure you check out all the forum vendors here. Lots of them offer forum discounts and/or free shipping for members. Some of them DO require you have a minimum number of posts before you qualify for the benefits, but I can't remember which is which.

And if you're thinking of joining a local jeep club, it may be better to join sooner rather than later. Lots of them have deals with off-road shops (i.e. 4 wheel parts, 4 wheel drive, etc.) where club members get a discount on what they buy AND the jeep club gets a percentage of every sale kicked back to them.

We have many vendors on the forum that can cut some pretty good deals to forum mrmbers. Other than that, I use Google allot. I enjoy looking for the best deals. Sometimes the cheapest price comes with high shipping costs and poor customer support so it can be a challenge.

I use to like 4 wheel parts until I found out about Northridge4x4. Northridge is super appealing to me because they have a location 45 minutes away from me.

I've used Quadratec several times for big orders and contacted the rep on here and got a great discount. Not sure if they beat Amazon, but you need to to do your research on Amazon. Some items, especially from third party vendors, are misrepresented. If it is sold and shipped from Amazon, you're probably OK. If it's from a third party and you don't know that third party, you better know exactly what you need and what you're getting.

That being said, Prime on Amazon is awesome. I think they raised their price this year due to me alone. $79and I've got stuff coming to my house constantly. Camping gear, survival gear, Jeep parts, movies, I built a desktop computer with parts from Amazon, all with free shipping. They have a great return policy too. Click a button, print out some forms, box it up and drop it at a UPS store.

I'd look around, though. Depending on what it is, sometimes the price is the price but other times you can great deals at different vendors and yeah, I'd always contact the rep on WF to see if you can get a discount. I'd buy from Amazon of the price was significantly lower, I mean it's my money and I like to keep as much of it as I can, but if it's close, I'll go with another retailer. Amazon won't help you find the right part or provide customer service during installation.

Any vendors on here do custom tire covers? My husband has a nice patriotic back piece tattoo, and I still have the original image of it, and think it would be awesome for a tire cover. He also wants to get a small decal of the same image on his bike.

Yes, with a great experience. Use this forum's supporting vendors, PM them so you get a person you can directly work with and get the forum discount. I've also used Morris, Northridge, Quadratec and 4WheelParts, all with good experiences and no issues.

Amazon and e-bay work great for good prices, but having that personal connection to someone you can talk to about questions or issues is valuable to me.

I believe allthingsjeep.com does custom tire covers, but I don't think they do custom vinyl decals. For those I'd go to pixeldecals.com. Don is a super nice guy and makes quality vinyl decals. If you've got your own artwork, I'd think it would be a simple process.

I use Quadratec and Amazon the most.

Does anyone know of a vendor selling Safari Straps with free shipping?

Any reputable vender should at least price match. Larger retailers like Q-tech and Amazon have larger a inventory and should be able to pass the savings on to the customer. With that being said .. Most pay the same price and there's only so much a vender can discount. Seems like some venders make money on quantity not so much per part. Way too much competition for your business. The venders here are great. All it takes is a phone call

I have ordered every mod on my jeep from an online vendor most are listed above! In all the things I have ordered only once did I have an issue and it was eventually resolved to my satisfaction. In that case it was an issue with the manufacturer not the vendor. Living in the country like I do I cannot imagine life without Amazon prime two day shipping
