Only one speaker working in Aux

When I plug in my iPhone to the Aux outlet, only the passenger side speakers output sound. Has anyone had this problem? It's a monster brand cord, but it's from 4 years ago, so maybe I need a new one?

Bad wire/plug connection. Buy a cheap one. It works good enough for Jeep system.

Be sure it's plugged all the way in, too. If it's not in all the way it'll only play one channel.

If you have a cover on your phone, that could prevent the plug from pushing all the way in the phone. It happened to me the first time I tried connecting my phone through the Aux jack.

Thanks, but I don't use a cover, just a SGP screen protector on the front and back

Yup, classic bad cord. But I spent a few bucks more on one after having the cheap ones repeatedly fail. It's been worth it so far.

Edit: This is the one I got. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
