Opinions, help, anything 2013 jeep wrangler

Hi, guys(and girls),
I'm new to this, really.

I had a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited(if that makes any difference) It was a beauty. The first month I added a dual exhaust and it roared pretty well. I understand that you have to have a v8 for a dual exhaust but can anyone explain the costs and work to make my v6 Jeep Wrangler get even have the sound of a v8?

I know people have posted about this before, but I want someone to directly explain to me the steps I could take to get some kind of sound. Any sound, really. I just got the jeep about 3 weeks ago, and I'm ready to make it one of a kind.

Also, I plan on adding side steps(nerf bars?), a bull bar and some other details, so your personal experiences with brands would be helpful. Any ideas or helpful comments are appreciated.

Please don't talk to me like I'm stupid for asking about making a v6 sound close to a v8. I know it could never be very close, but just anything to give a little noise. I'm new to this, and I'm just looking for a point in the right direction.

A CAI will give you a slight change in sound. I have a Volant on mine. About the only thing I've noticed about it is that it sounds kind of cool. Otherwise I have not observed much if any benefit to having it.

Here's a better question.. Would it be possible (and worth it) to make my jeep a v8?

I just don't know much about this stuff. I want to learn though.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.AEV does sell a kit for installing a V-8 in your Jeep but you have to supply the engine. The kit has all the adapters and wiring connections to make everything in your Jeep work with the V-8 Like your trans and guages. You can also purchase a AEV converted Jeep but they are really pricey!I have your same color Jeep but in 4 door and would probably use the Gibson exhaust for a better sound and a little extra hp.I am running 35 Duratraxs with a AEV 2.5"lift and am happy with the power and performance.Hope this helps.

Go with a Gibson cat back. It won't sound like an 8 but it does sound a little better than some of the other brands, kinda like an angry V6 as opposed to a happy V6.

It is very possible to shoehorn a V8 into a JK...if you can afford it. AEV has a few Hemi Jeeps featured in magazines.
The Air Force FINALLY sent me back home to Florida. Ahhhh, Emerald Coast sugar sand.

You're not gonna get the sound of a v8 without putting in a v8. If you really want the sound or power drop in a v8 along with aevs kit. Or put in a diesel. Its your Jeep.

Coming from a v8 ZJ to a 2013 JK I completely miss the sound. High flow y pipe and cat, 3" cat back to a thrush welded muffler. It put a smile on my face just starting her up.
