Exclamation Opinions Please...

Something about back right side of my top doesn't seem right.
I want to take to the dealer to have them look at it.
The left side seems to be ok.

Zip about 1"
Secure window strip in door surround.
Pull from the opposite end.
You want to pull the window tight into the door surround, giving you more to pull around the rear corner.

Make sense? Prob not lol

There is a plastic spleen inside that rear corner. Mine has a zipper and can be removed. If you cannot remove it, find something long enough that you can butt it up against your roll bar and put outward force on that piece to straighten it. It looks like it may have been bent inward by not positioning the sail panel properly while the top was down.

The weather is not warm enough to attempt some of the suggestions.

I am pretty anal about the sail panels when I place the top down.

Can anyone post a picture of the right rear?

Update: Took to dealer. Dealer said nothing wrong with my top, I said I disagree!
Will be speaking with Service Mgr tomorrow.

Lots of soft tops on the lot, hope he wore comfy shoes!

I ain't seeing nuttin wrong. U wanna look at my soft top? It's ripping and my frame is half duct tape. I keep a roll in the center console as my frame maintnence. Might just be something to deal with.

Maybe it just needs to work its way into laying flat against the window. That's the only flaw I see is that the flap doesn't press against the window. Nothing too bad

I am afraid it will only get worse. Its only a year old!
Appreciate the opinions.

I checked other tops and that strip or spleen or whatever it is not as curved as mine.

On a better note they are replacing my hood hold downs because they were almost white. And they fixed my rear headrest. The whole plastic sleeve came out when I removed the headrest. I had my rear window bar replaced months ago because the rubber seal was falling off. Minor stuff? I guess.

It's only minor stuff when it's someone else's Jeep.

My top is like that too, but then again it is a 2008. Personally wouldn't and doesn't bother me.

In any event, the dealer took pics to send to Chrysler. He told me if they replace, it will probably happen again OR i could buy a new one.

I am not trying to raise holy hell with this issue, if Chrysler says move along, I shall. They are replacing my hood hold downs with no fight. I was waiting for them to tell me "Its a Jeep Thing" they turn white.

Guess i should just head back to the Soccer fields after I am done at the Mall.
