Opinions wanted on JKUX Pricing

Got offered a deal and would like everyone's opinion on it:

2014 JKU X Anvil Manual w/ black hard top, Max Tow, 430N
MSRP $41,975

Deal for $38,200
Plus TT&T
$41,175 OTD

(9% below MSRP)

What do you all think?

That is probably about 2% below invoice. You might do better, but not sure it would be worth the effort.....and you might have to travel to get it. There are a few big volume dealers in the country where you could do better........maybe save another $1000, especially if you have a Tread Lightly membership.

This is over in ohio and I am in Indiana. Also with my tread lightly membership.
Employee pricing is only $800 less. Asked for that but they are holding firm at 38,200 and must be by the end of the month.

Invoice is 39,280 on that vehicle. The price they gave you is about 400 under the price a salesperson would pay. Employee Price is for Chrysler employees, not dealership employees. I would take that in a heartbeat, they're probably trying to meet a quota hence the end of the month deal. Just make sure they aren't adding several hundred dollars in doc fees or any other BS add ons.

I just finalized purchase of my 2014 Unlimited Rubicon X today! I ended up at 2% below invoice including discount and Affiliate Pricing due to my wife's company. To top it off, they are delivering it to my door in Fort Worth, TX from Denver, Colorado free of charge. That will save me close to a $1000 by not having to fly to Denver, stay a night in a hotel, cab fair, gas and a 14 hour drive back. That saves me another 2% in cost and two days of time. The only other JKURX with options and color I wanted was in Austin, TX (2 hours away). They wanted full sticker and nothing less. Wouldn't even look up Affiliate Pricing for me. I had another dealer an hour away even try everything they could to trade the Austin dealership for the jeep and Austin wouldn't let it go. Said they could and would sell it for full sticker. I feel very pleased with my deal for such a specific JKURX with exact features I wanted. Colorado Chrysler Jeep was a pleasure to work with. Hopefully Jeep will be delivered within the next week! I ordered and specifically wanted:

2014 Granite JKURX
Auto
Freedom top (NON painted body color)
4.10
430 Nav Stereo
NON painted body color flares

Had multiple dealers say the JKURX's were selling as fast as they could get them here in this part of the country and they just didn't need to discount them to make it happen. Sounds like you are getting a great deal!

I know not to expect great mpg, but anyone give me a heads up being this has the heavier steel bumpers, manual transaction and 4.10 gears. I drive about 2800 miles a month to my construction site. My current Mazda tribute only gets 15-17 average with 60% highway driving.

That's a pretty good deal in general.

You didn't break out the fees. Around here, a "good" dealer charges around $100. A "bad" dealer pads up their profit by charging around $500.

I looked 3 months for an X and worked a ton of deals and I can tell you that the deal you're listing here is a good one. Never pay a doc fee, though. Tell them to drop the $250 and take that deal and run.

I am going to look at a JKUX tonight Black with unpainted hardtop, auto, 430, remote start, max tow and auto A/C. MSRP is 44,110 and they are asking 39,571.

I can live with these options, but would probably order a manual, 4.10, and side airbags and skip some of the other stuff. I assume that they will do better on the price if we get that far, but would like to know from the forum what the best possible deal might be.

Thanks.

Current MSRP price on your build is 45,705 w/ exact options and an invoice of 42,605. Auto AC went up a couple hundred, don't know your complete options.

Now down to 37,700 plus matching carmax quote of $3000 for trade if done by end of the month (tomorrow). About 200 miles away. I want to do it but the boss/wife is getting cold feet. Wish it wasn't such a good deal to make it easier to turn down.

So what's your hold up? That's a fantastic price if that's the Jeep you want.

I bought mine 200 miles away sight unseen and couldn't be happier.

If it has the options you want do it.

Well I will be working out the rest of the deal (mainly financing) tomorrow and should be picking it up on Saturday. Any my drive home should take care of most of my break in miles too. Been looking at Wranglers since 2005. Can't wait!!!

I will most definitely post pictures shortly.
