Ordering 4.10s on a manual '14 JKUR error?

First off, im new to wrangler forum, so hello!, and sorry if this is in the wrong spot., so today I went to the local dealer to price out a 4 door rubicon, and after telling him all the options i want, he went to his manager to build it out on the computer. He came back and told me that the only gear ratio option for the manuals are 3.73s, he said that the 4.10 option is "greyed out", and therefore it will come with 3.73s. Im pretty sure that the rubicon manual has the 4.10s stock, and i was wondering if anyone could confirm that maybe the dealer is just assuming that since the 4.10 option is greyed out, its not standard, but i read on other threads that its like that because its the only option. can anyone post a picture of their build sheet with the 4.10s so i dont sound stupid asking my dealer to double check that, and also any other info would be great!, thanks!

14 rubicons with manual only have 4.10 in the USA. Other markets maybe different.

How much for the 4:10's from the factory? I have a 2 dr manual rubi (TJ) with 4:10 and will be re-gearing to 4:88. My Rubi with 4:10's and 35's here in CO make my 4HI basically worthless (off-road), that's why I'm going to 4:88's. I can't imagine a 4 dr with the same...
Buddy has a 4 dr JK and went to 5:13's. My point is depending on what 4:10's COST from the factory (assuming it doesn't come that way) you may want to save the money, get the 3:73 and then do a re-gear to something else that will work for you even better. That way you're not paying 2x for gears. Hope this makes sense.

I def want to regear at some point, but for now i think 33s or 35s with the 4.10s will be ok as a daily driver, as well as wheeling, and once it becomes just a toy and not a dd ill def regear, just figured if its free i should get it, and just trying to confirm my dealer is just reading it wrong or something, i might ask him to show me his buildout or something tommorow

If anyone has a window sticker with the 4.10s, and manual listed on a 14, that would be great

4.10 axles are standard on all manual Rubicons and manual Unlimited Rubicons. That's why it is "grayed out." You can't order a standard feature.

3.73s are standard on automatic Rubis, and 4.10s are an option. If you try to order an auto Rubi, I'll bet the 3.73 option is "grayed out" and the 4.10 option is available.

Your salesman is "confused."

Thanks! That sounds about right, i was gonna say what is the purpose of not even allowing a manual with 4.10s

You might be surprised how low the gearing actually is with the manual with 4.10 axle and the 4:1 transfer case!

Some very knowledgeable Jeepers have found the 3.6L Pentastar with 4.10s is "perfect" for wheeling with 35" tires.

Just called a dealer with a 6 speed rubi, they are literally going to check the axle to find out, fingers crossed!

There is nothing on the axle that will tell them the gear ratio inside!

The dealer easily can get the build sheet for that Jeep from Chrysler - through Dealer Connect, IIRC. The build sheet lists the axle ratio put in that Jeep at the factory.

Insist on getting a copy of the build sheet so their aren't any more surprises!

As others here have said, manual Rubicons come with 4.10 from the factory. No worries on that - it is 100% fact. If your dealer can't figure this out, I would suggest finding another dealer that knows the product they are trying to sell.

Hey just talked to another dealer. Talked to the manager who is definitely a wrangler guy, and he confirmed, and showed me on the computer that the manual has 4.10s standard, and its greyed out because its not an option and does not cost more. so that's solved!

Just wanted to update, even though my dealer i ordered through insisted that it would be built with 3.73s, I emailed jeep to get the build sheet, and it confirms that my 6 speed wrangler unlimited rubicon will come with 4.10 gearing, so that solves that!

Yeah...sometimes we have to keep in mind that not all salespeople are Wranger people....and Wranglers have a lot of quirks when it comes to ordering.
