Nice work. It has a quick disconnect for getting to the spare easily, correct?

Pretty sure it's welded on.

Yeah, yeah. Hell, I'm the one that recommended that kit to him, so you would think I would know. I've got the stuff to relocate my 3rd brake light to the carrier, but have been leaning towards doing this instead.

I'm looking to move both the license bracket and 3rd brake light. I believe ORO makes the kit with a disassemblyable cable with a Rockhard spare mount license bracket. Also, is there an easy way to remove the stock 3 rd light? Looks like one piece with the spare mount. It does look like a cleaner mount.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well. I believe it is just a quick disconnect for the wiring and then the bracket holding the plate on has a quick disconnect as well.

As for the removal of the stock third, a hack saw, angle grinder, etc will make quick work of it. Then just sand down and hit with bedliner spray.

Thanks for the confirmation on the quick disconnects. Did the ORO kit come with the plug for the stock location, or did you pick that up from the dealer/PSC?

Rear passenger tail light, and 3m splicers make it ready as crap. Trail wire behind tailgate panel, and youre done! I was shocked how ready once you start working on it how fast it goes.

Yeah, I knew it had both. One of the things I like best about it actually. I've only got a few bucks in the supplies to relocate the light, so if I decide to go this route, its no biggie. Just have to make up my mind now.

Nope. He went with the plug from the dealer. It can also be picked up from Poison Spyder.

Thinking of putting longhorn stickers on each side of my rear bumper. Would that look gay?

lol...uhhhh I'm all for representing, but 2? maybe put a black one below that tree decal or off set on the rear bumper? I like being subtle with things like that. I like a very limited amount of chrome accenting as well (on a side note, I can't tell if you're being serious haha)
