Owners manual.....complete?

Was reading another thread and someone mentioned "check page 264 in the manual". I don't know if they were joking around or not. But mine is only 60+ or so pages long. I thought it was a little sparse. Mostly about the Tops and different radio /electronic features. So do I have the full manual or not?

You would get a light users guide with the vehicle and should have gotten a DVD with the full manual on it. Jeep stopped printing the full manual with all the new vehicles.

You do not have the full version. Jeep decided to give a smaller simpler version to the customer. The dealer told us when we got our jeep that if you wanted the full thing there's a number you call and they'll send ya one. Ours also came with a cd that is the whole manual.

Download the full version here: (https://www.jeep.com/hostb/crossbrand/owners/en/).

I've never missed not having it in print.

This is from a tech bulletin I received from Chrysler. It has the information on how to obtain an owner's manual

If the first registered retail owner requests a printed copy of the Owner’s Manual, Navigation Radio, Multi-Media Radio Manual, and the Warranty Information book, the customer, or else your Sales staff, can contact the Customer Assistance Center at:
Jeep 877-426-5337
Dodge 800-423-6343
Chrysler 800-247-9753
Ram 866-726-4636
Fiat 888-242-6342
and they will be entitled to one complimentary copy, shipped direct to the customer.

That cd would sure be nice, I just bought my '07 from a dealer and they ordered the hard copy manual for me. The manual is thick (~450 pages) and does not have any info on the u-connect features. They said that is provided in yet another manual.

The DVD version started with the 2010 models. It's nice initially to have the book to sit down and look through, but after that the .pdf version is better for reference.

I just ordered a hard copy a few weeks ago. The people were friendly and I had it in a week or so. They also asked if I wanted a book for the radio as well, got that one too.

Nice. It's a PDF file. I downloaded it in Safari on my iPhone. Then opened it in iBooks. Now I have it with me whenever, wherever. Thanx for the Link.
