surprised how much smaller the 4.56 gear is... I didn't realize the difference would be that noticeable

yeah for some reason my iPad inverts the pictures when I upload them and I'm not using the app. just going through safari.

haven't tested it yet been real busy with work. I fly to DC on Sunday morning. I'll be there till Jeep Beach. flying home for that. so I guess my first go of it will be on the obstacle course.

Are you doing this yourself man?! I really want to regear mine but I seriously HATE having anyone work on my vehicles. I usually do all the work myself on everything I own, but I'm not sure how complicated this would be.

no. not the gears and lockers. or the sleeves and c's. I didn't want to mess the the axle myself in the driveway if something happened I'd be screwed. land o lakes 4x4, but I did spin some wrenches. the store manager is a real good guy... I told him I wanted to work with him a bit to watch and learn.

yup when i was shopping for a locker i had one of the guys from OX on the phone for over an hour..
the locker has been in for over 3 years and works perfect... the major selling point for me was if and a big if ,, that if the cable breaks you can lock or unlock it with a allen key...

one thing to keep an eye on is the cable will stretch a tad over time,,, you'll know when it happens,, the locker will click when engaged,,,, all you need to do to fix it is give a little turn on the big nut on the selector,,, and i do mean a little,,,, as in .010-.015 of an inch.... i only had to adjust mine once in 3 years and i wheel the piss out of my jeep..

AGAIN LET THE FAD BEGIN
