PAC SNI-35 Line Out Converter

Has anyone installed one of these PAC SNI-35 Line out converter for factory radios to install an amp and subwoofer and where did you tie into your speaker wires?

The soundbar, all the way to the floor has plastic covering it with snap-in buttons. I am hesitant to pry on them and if I break one, I guess its a dealer item, right?

Yeah, you can get the stuff from the dealer, but really if you do break a tab it probably won't matter. They are really redundant and in general you don't need all of them. But just pull straight back on them and they should pop out fine.

I too am interested in this. Im probably going to buy the JL stealthbox and will need an amp to power it. Im not sure and I hope somebody can confirm..... If your only putting in a sub, can you just use the two sets of wires going into the stock sub and hook them directly into the speaker level inputs of an aftermarket amp. You couldnt do that if your running your speakers off a new amp because the factory sub wires are not full range. If your aftermarket amp doesnt have speaker level inputs you probably would still need the PAC convertor to convert factory sub wires to rca. I imagine you could use the factory sub wires if your only installing a sub, correct? I hope this makes sense and I hope someone out there who has added a aftermarket sub allready can confirm. Oh.... Is the 12volt outlet mounted near the sub ignition switched?? If so you have a switched amp turn on. If its hot all the time I guess you have to find a turn on wire elsewhere.
