Padded arm rest

Has any one see an after market padded arm rest cover? Tired of cracking my elbow when things get a little rough.

I'm assuming you mean center console armrest...

I bought this as a gift for Mike and we both really like it.

Rugged Ridge 13108.01 Black Neoprene Center Console Armrest Pad for Jeep Wrangler JK : Amazon.com : Automotive

Quadratec also makes one, but the last time I asked them about it, they didn't have them for the 2013.

Hope this helps!

I was talking about the door armrest. That's the one I keep finding with my elbow. I checked out the one you show. It looks better than the others I have found. Think I will order one and try it out. Thanks

Sorry it wasn't what you were looking for, but I hope it turns out you like it!

Here's another one that looks like what you're looking for, but we don't have them so I can't speak to its quality/usefulness:

Amazon.com: Bestop 81800-35 Black Diamond Padded Arm Rest Cover Set for 07-12 Wrangler JK 2-door: Automotive

If you do wind up trying this one, would you let us know what you think of it, please?

For what it's worth, the console cover says it only fits up to a 2012. We have a 2013 JKU and it fits perfectly.

Not sure if the same is true for the door rests. And I'm not sure what year your jeep is...

I made my own center arm rest... Alot cheaper, and higher, and mor forward so that I can actually rest my elbow on it while I drive. Get a 12x9" piece of wood, 3'x3' or so vynal, cut an old pillow to 14"x11". Staple it to the wood with the vynal. Get 4 l brackets, use existing console screws. Attach. Cost me like $25 and Im satisfied.

Does this help "cool" the plastic console at all? I had the top down the other day and nearly burned my right elbow... Not fun! Thanks in advance!

For arm rests, i may do a similar mod. Pillow and vynal only. Wrap it around handle, attach it to the 2 side screws...

It's still warm, but not unbearably warm. Definitely more comfortable than without, and cooler than the door arm rest.

I used pipe insulation from Home Depot, cut on angle each end for aesthetics and some double sided tape to secure. Much better. I assume you have a pre 2011.
