Looks nice. I've thought the same thing many times. I've actually thought of buying new black screws a few times.

One last question.... If I install this Jeep cover can I STILL utilize my factory gas cap and lanyard????

I like the idea of painting the door screws. Looks good!
Normally I would do the same.
But it seems, in my case, my screws match my nuts. My JK lugs, that is.
Thats why I probably won't spray paint them. My JK door screws, that is.
Besides, it would tickle too much.

Thanks for posting the instructions on how you did that. The exact same fuel door is on my wish list for my JK. Like you, I didn't like the look of the silver screws when I was pricing it recently. I had already decided I'd have to paint them black but wasn't quite sure how I was going to do it. You just saved me a lot of time so thank you. Yours look great, I can't wait to get mine!!
