Hey guys I want to paint over my interior trim pieces to body color(sand), but i dont know if i will like it. Will painting over the plastic pieces with plasti dip then painting with the sand color make it removable?
I know it can be done with metal pieces, will it work with plastic as well?
look on youtube, i believe there is a video with the owner explaining why painting over the plastidip isnt a good idea. I dont remember what happens but it ended up looking pretty bad. plastidip in the color you want would be your best bet.
i remembered what the issue was.... if you paint over the dip and decide that you don't like it, it will not peel off easily like it should. you will be picking at little flakes of crap for hours trying to get the piece cleaned up.
