Parachute Cord Accessories

Has anyone made their own handholds, etc. from parachute cord? I'd like to see pictures of things that you made for your Jeeps!

I really want to make these for mine too! How difficult are they to braid? I found some videos online but it seems people braid them differently

Mine were not that hard to do...tie just a cobra weave. I had to braid them a couple times to get them like I wanted. I have a little experience messing with paracord. Made an 8' bullwhip last year. Helped me to have a lacing needle/fid.

My wife and I started by making grab handles for ourselves, now we are making 1-2 sets per day. Take your time and keeps the cord tight, it's not that difficult. Wear gloves or you will tear up your hands.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh and we have a ton of pictures of completed grab handles on our Facebook page, in case you want to see what a particular color combo looks like.

I have a set of olsen185 paracord handles and they are awesome! Unless you are a diehard DIYer, I feel that you come out ahead having them do it for you. By the time that you buy the paracord and learn the weaving technique....they would have made you a set in the colors of your choice and it would be installed in the jeep already.

My 9 year old daughter actually squealed in delight when she say them installed as she would no longer be "cleaning" the side if the rig with her clothes getting in.

I've been trying to find how to do the straps and I can't find it. Sorry if I'm just ignorant. I just dont want to make a ghetto bracelet/door strap. Please leave a link for me! Thank you lol

Yeah they're easy to do.
Some grab handles and something for my little girl to pull herself into the Jeep.
