Passenger side carpet keeps coming up

Hey guys, bought my 2012 about 4 months ago and I notice that EVERY time that I put the passenger seat forward for someone to get in back that the carpet comes up. I have to keep tucking it back under the console and underneath the seat. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a quick fix? Or should I be taking it back to the dealership? Thanks!

I'd say dealership. There's probably supposed to be plastic push-pin/clips holding the part up under the dash.

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem in my new 2014 JK. Did you every figure out what was happening, or get it fixed?

Pull the carpet and bed-line it... no more carpet worries!

Same on my 2010. I might try some velcro on the underside of the carpet to the floorboard.

I had the same problem on my 2013. I tucked it up and away a little better and that seems to have solved the problem. The rail that the seat travels on is awfully close to where it comes down from the center console, and the wiring harness under there pulls it forward.

I've since removed my carpet. That solved the problem.

Same on my 14, I just put a dab of 3m spray glue on it, never had an issue since.

Same thing on my 11. Velcro or spray may be the ticket.

I put in a set of WeatherTech mats and they are really snug to the floor pans, so much so that they help hold the carpet from sliding around.
