The 2012's are out. The 2013's are still (hoping) to be out in 2-3 more weeks. Believe it or not, the tuning on the 2012 versus the 2013's are different. So, there is a slight delay in them. Soon though!

And Pie, nice write up. I would love to see the videos. I know of a few CO guys with Hemi's that would love to race! LOL...

My JK was also built in december of 11...I guess it's a prime candidate for a S/C as well?

I'd drop in the S/C and a swap from 3.21's to 4.88's at the same time...that should give my 2dr a nice kick in the pants. One day....

Yes, the programming is a little different so Diablo has to rewrite the tuners for 2013. The mechanical is all the same. That part is done.

That......was pretty cool. Thanks for posting. You mentioned two things I am looking at doing 1: Rear gearing and 2 37's

I am looking at rear gearing with 5:13's, do you feel you would need less gear with the supercharger?

Im going to still have the 4.10s in when the 37s go on. you want to see how it handles the tires before changing your gears. 5:13 is a lot i think. Check the chart.

Thanks for the reply. I know 5:13 may seem a lot but I have three kids, two dogs and have to haul a trailer behind to hold our gear. I am looking for the "Chart" do you know where to find it?

Wow wow wow 5.97 that's awesome. Mine is 2door manual with 3.21 1.75" and 265/70/17 and I am sure I don't want to do 0-60. I like to slam the throttle on roll.

One question: I am living overseas how am I suppose to get it tuned ?

your computer is flashed is it or your tuned by using Diablo ?

5.7 0-60 is 6.7 I guess so there is no need to try with them.

I would be interested in paying 5-6K for the supercharger, but have concerns about warranty being void on potential head problem on 12/11/11 assembled motor. Any dealers around N. GA who have done this? Not interested in doing it myself!

My motor was beside yours on the assembly line. Betty was delivered 1/13/12.

Someone else asked this same question. I can tell you this. Unless you HATE your truck, you will be more gentle with it than we were.

You would think we were trying to break the head with the way we drove it cross country in 29 hours and all the dyno'ing, and 0-60 testing.

She's a tough girl.

She's a tough girl.
I thrash mine often, in extreme conditions and did so upon break in too- getting 18-19 average hand calc'd, mixed driving. That's with tons of steel bolt on's and the heaviest winch sold. The engine isn't what worries me- its the plethora of other little stuff I have to do under warranty (throw out bearing, water pump, leather seats tearing even where they are vinyl for added protection, about to embark on the heater core & radiator pull requiring dash tear down). Thank goodness for warranty!!!

Back on topic. ENGINE GOOD

Really would like this mod...maybe someday?!

That's 348 hp and about 297 ft-lbs on an automatic transmission with 37 inch tires! Manual transmission will be more. Previous numbers from RIPP show almost 20 more hp and ft-lbs for manual, so I'm predicting around 365+ hp and 315+ ft-lbs for the manual with this latest tune...

I can't wait to see what that does to my bone-stock 2-door manual . I predict low/mid 5s 0-60mph.

I asked this exact question when I saw this. Its a new dyno run, but all the same components from RIPP on my truck including the tune. I think the difference is that this truck has 4.88 gearing.

My numbers should be real close.

I really think this will be a great combo as long as my 5 speed auto can hold up. If it cannot I'm guessing I can always rebuild the tranny stronger.
