Superchips No
Not sure about the other tuners. My guess is, if Suoerchips is having trouble cracking the 2011 ECU .. Others would be too.

Nope. Nobody's been able to crack the ECU's rolling code, as jkeeper said.

I have one for my 07
I was reading up on the Suoerchips forum, somebody asked about the 12 recently. A comment was made by Suoerchips saying they were hard at work on it, the goal was to have the 11 out before working on the 12.

Good luck on that IMO

Same with Hypertech. Recently read a thread about it on another forum, with comments from a Hypertech rep. They don't sound very...sure of themselves.

For now, all I really need is my Procal.

i have been wondering about this and how legal it really is to do this. i use reverse engineering in web development all the time and feel guilty about it....sometimes. but a lot of code is open source so its okay, but with chrysler i would think it would be proetected, no?

I think it's your state laws that we have to
follow. emissions/safety assuming plays a
role.
There is a limit on what they can do before the check engine light comes on anyhow, I would think.

Good question.

If I'm not mistaken Ripp has the '11 superchargers and programmers out, so obviously they cracked it. That was the only hold up, since the mechanical is the same as the 10, the comp was different somehow.

If that's the case you're the only one on the planet. Hypertech and superchips do not yet have a tuner for either the '11 or the '12.

If they did it would be marketed like crazy.

Guess this needs be to said in a more conventional way:

There are no tuners for the '11 or '12! Period !

Chrysler ?? That's a whole line of vehicles not just the wranglers

I'm not debating you but I see post often of people asking for a 11 tuner.
Answer is always the same NONE.

Yeah i have seen that but thats there tune for the supercharger, not a tune for a stock naturally aspirated 3.8.. So big difference for people looking for a 3 or 4 hundred dollar tuner, not a 5000+ tuner supercharger package.. So in those regards there isnt a tuner i.e superchips, hypertech, diablo tuner on the market for 2011 jeep

Yeah they did ,, to bad the big companies cant crack it??? My belief is that the tuners for the 07-10 make them lots of $$$ but why make the 2011, with the new 2012 motor out and such a small market for one model year.. I highly doubt we will see a tuner for the 2011, just our luck

Yah I saw that also. I think they are just listing for the Jk model as one. Not knowing the 11's ECU changed somehow.

I know those Procal like device works on the 11 now. Just not the actual tuners.

I'm going to throw out a guess here that most if not all of these programer companys will just skip the 2011 models. The 2007-2010 ECU count is many times larger than the 2011 sigle year use ECM. I'm just not sure they can pencil out a profit on it unless the code is easy to break, and aparently it's not.

I actually hope I'm wrong.
