Peterson LED headlights!!

It looks like only very few got the Peterson LED headlights. I believe it's same as KC 7" rounds but for $394 delivered. Hope it will have the same performance as KC. Couldn't resist the price and KC similarities. So I ordered them last Friday and arrived on time, nicely packaged from 4WS.
Here are some pics and planning on installing them this weekend.
Please share your thoughts!!
Thanks

I hate you, that's Mi thought. I've been wanting to get led headlamps. But not willing to spend that much for them since I keep thinking, "once they fail, you'll have to spend another few hundred to replace them."

Yea I know, it's led it'll last long. Say that to all the vehicles that have led tail lamps with leds that are out =/

When they stayed putting those on the vehicles, it wasn't that long till I saw allot of them out. Changing a bulb it's still cheaper. Unless they actually make them so you can just replace the led.

Gratz Joe, give us some pro/con on it. I haven't order myself yet. Biggest concern is how the headlights handle in the cold weather especially in snow and rain.

Common dont be a hater...Lol
here is my rational...and my opinion!!
a) Stock head lights sucks - need to replace.
b) I was excited about the plug an play LED bulbs, but more I read the reviews, they all have some kind of an issue, its not clean + not DOT compliant.
b) Trucklite - flickering issue, X pattern issue, cost ~$450 including anti-flicker harness
c) JW Speaker - Cost out of reach + i didnt like the looks (does not fit traditional JK styling)
d) KC - modified truck lite with 25yr warranty but cost about $500+
then I saw this Peterson kit, which is same as KC for $395
I got it, its a gamble, not much review on them but i am hoping they did their homework based on issues with Truck lite. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!

No. The KC is not a modified TL. If anything, the KC is a rebranded Peterson.

KC are current going for 420ish on Amazon and carry the usual KC warranty of 23 years.

The only difference i see is the big yellow KC and the anti-flicker adapter is different and seems to be easier to fit in the small space behind the headlights.

Interested in the before and after pics of the beam pattern of both on a wall and an open area. High and low beams shots of each would be awesome.

The looks like the standard H4 to H13 adapter, not an anti flicker harness.

Look forward to seeing some pictures of the beam and your review. I installed the KC HiLite LED's a couple of weeks ago and absolutely love them. I posted about a 9 minute video of driving with them on some lighted and desolate & dark roadway. Just looking at your picture, they appear VERY similar in appearance.

One quick question, is the Peterson logo across the center of the lamp inside or outside the glass? It looks like it's on the outside portion of the glass.

Like Knuckles mentioned, I purchased mine for $430 shipped from Amazon. Nice that Peterson has the Limited Lifetime warranty. I looked at the site you purchased yours and it appears that you buy the lights and harness separately? $349.95 for lights and $44.95 for the harness. The KC kit includes the harness (albeit they are charging for it in the base price).

Stupid question: why do all these aftermarket headlights need an anti flicker harness?

Because of the Can-Bus computer in the JK. It's constantly sending out signals that it uses for diagnostics. Because of this and the fact that LEDs are so low voltage, they respond to the variable voltage and flicker. The "Pulse Modulation" harness adds a resistor to soak up the variable voltage and output a much flatter power curve. Therefore, you get no voltage peaks or deficits and the LED's don't flicker.

Lol! Ok I won't hate. I'll just destroy! I agree,jk lights sucks donkey balls. All the time I read about the lamps,I saw nothing of a warranty about it. I would love to install led lamps. If they cover it for 25 years, that's good. Even though replacing bulbs would still be allot cheaper in 25 years.

I'm still waiting& seeing about them. But I think my next project would be monstaliner the inside&/or the flares.

But like a few mention. Before& after pics&a review would be appreciated!

I stand corrected after looking at their site, apparently their anti flicker is much smaller than the Truck Lite one.
