Just got the Teraflex Leveling Kit installed today. 285/70R17 last Thursday. I don't notice any difference in the ride, which I didn't expect to. The amount of lift the leveling kit provides is exactly what I wanted. ...for now anyway. The first picture is obviously stock wheels/tires and no lift. Next two are with.

I'm pretty sure there's only one kit called Leveling Kit from TeraFlex.
Here's the link to Teraflex: | TeraFlex Suspensions
Quadratec price is a bit lower: Teraflex 1155200 - Teraflex Leveling Kit for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I'm being lazy...how does this kit perform off road? Any issues with people flexing it and breaking stuff? I'm trying to convince myself this is sufficient for me, but the bad half wants full on rock krawler.
I haven't tested it off road yet, but I've done a lot of reading and everything I've read there have been no issues of stuff breaking. It all comes back to what you want to do and where you want to go with your rig. For me it's the deer lease where at most it's going to be mud, hills and a creek. Nothing a stock Jeep can't handle. Maybe a trip to an OHV park for some 1's and 2's, something my rig "should" have no big issues with.

Are these the 1.5" spring or puck leveling kits?
Mine is 2" pucks in the front, new control arms, and 1" pucks in the rear. Per TeraFlex, enough to run up to 34" tires.

I have taken mine off road several times with this kit installed, and it performs very well. The only issue I encountered (and I have a 2013 JKU) is the front drive shaft boot makes contact with the exhaust crosspipe and will tear the shaft boot. I need to get some spacers or the Rough Country pipe swap to prevent it. Not a big deal though.

I have the TF spacer leveling kit with 285 DT's. Its been a great kit to get me on bigger tires without the expense of a full on lift. I've put 8,000 miles on since June, been off road 20 plus times and I'm very happy with how it performs both on and offroad. I knew when I bought it that it would be temporary and I hope to go to a 2.5 RK lift in the Spring. For 127 bucks it was a good choice to get bigger tires, a little more clearance after the expense of purchasing the jeep without having to invest another $1000 plus right off the bat. :thumb:

I think those might be sway bar links, as opossed to control arms.

Looks very nice. Sharp wheels!

I'm thinking of doing the same but why would someone want to go with the leveling kit over a true TF lift with shocks and springs? is it just for the money? hope its ok I'm throwing this question in. I went to a local shop and they quoted me on the TF leveling kit as well as pro comp rather than a full lift with shocks.

The PERFORMANCE leveling kit is a true lift. I chose this setup because I didn't want to net any more than 2.5" of lift and most of the 2.5" coil lifts get you up above 3". I wanted to run 33's and be able to flex and stuff them up into the fenders while disconnected. At this height I'm not worrying about track bars needing adjustment or extreme drive line angles. I'm running Bilstein 5100's with the TF coils and the ride is BETTER than stock and works great offroad. I'm running 285/75-16's and I'm at the perfect height for my use.

I originally wanted to go with the OME 2" lift kit, but realized that once I got into the 2"+ lift range, there were a lot more suspension parts that I would need to buy (not required, but, encouraged by all the vendors).

I didn't feel comfortable spending that much money at the time, but, I still wanted to get a lift that was good with a good ride quality in mind. Plus anything more than a 2"+ lift, my wife wouldn't be able to get into the Jeep.

I ended up going with the performance lift (springs) and the OME shocks and I'm very pleased with my decision. My buddy with a JKU has the leveling kit (pucks) on stock shocks drove/rode in my Jeep and noticed the better handling and ride quality immediately.
