Why would you want fog lights way up there? I may be wrong but they inherently aim downward to help find the road, or edge of it. Having the, way up there could be hella reflection off the hood

^^^This.

If you wanna put lights up there, you'd be better off with driving lights, which have much more focused beams meant for distance lighting. Fogs up there will trash your night vision. Not to mention they won't light up the road for very far.

Click on the different pairs of lights in the link below...there's a chart that shows the light output of each. You'll see the difference right away between fogs and driving lights.

Thanks guys! I saw a pic somewhere and liked the look. They may have been driving lights. We do most of our off-roadin at night in old strippin lands. I like to lead the way. Any extra light is a plus for what we do. Especially when we stop for a beer or 2! Just tossin around some ideas!

I have had my eye on these as well and am wondering if there would be a way to hard wire them in with a switch instead of wireless, or maybe both?? Wonder if thats possible.

I like the look of the stone guards. I was looking at the M.O.R.E brackets as they include a gasket to protect the paint as well. I really want these lights even more now.

Here in the People's Republik of Kalif. we have to keep them covered on paved roads if they are above the head lights.
