You can see in this flex shot the duct tape I wrapped around the folded up links. There's enough tension in the bushings that the bar stayed up the whole day without any support.

I just added a lift kit with JKS quicker disconnects so when I disconnect in the future the links come off after removing a couple of pins. If the bar starts to sag I'll worry about finding a way to hold it up.

@Jeepdon, so just pull the pins and relocate? Nothing under tension? Also, thanks for the pics.

Looks like he modified an aftermarket kit, but that's the premise of quick disconnects. You just pull a pin, disco and go. Some aftermarkets disconnect at both ends to completely remove the link and others disco at one end and reconnect to a holding spot.

So I could just undo it and tie it back to the sway bar as long as it doesn't rub?

That's what I did and it worked. At least for the first trip I took.

Now all I do is pull a couple of pins on either side and the link comes out completely. If I need to in the future I'll tie the swaybar to the frame to keep it from drooping.

Sorry for the newb questions,I'm trying to learn as I go. I just went and took one side off and I just learned that I won't be doing that again until I get some quick disconnects, it would suck hooking them back up with mud everywhere.

I ordered the teraflex leveling kit and it comes with the sway bar links. Can I just get the teraflex quick disconnect pins to go with it?

Those would probably work too. I've had several sets of JKS on various Jeeps and I like them.

Thanks a lot. I'm gonna go ahead and order these before I get the leveling kit put on. Do the 1601277 brackets weld on?
