Pictures I promised. Black as I could get her.

I think I have done too much for this beast in the past 3 months of ownership. Looks much different from when I saw her on the lot with her little 16" steelies.
Props to TC at DTD for throwing in black locking gorilla lugs, I didn't even ask for them! My wallet can hopefully recover now.

This was the Bighorns at 80, and DT's at 69. It actually feels lighter too. I guess 11 pounds each tire on axle can make a difference. Hopefully better MPG?

That looks great, dude.

I took the Trail Rated badge off. Just me, but I like it better with nothing there.

Bit of JK trivia: Before 2010, 4 door JKs could be had with only 2wd. Other than looking under the Jeep for a front driveshaft, the only distinguishing feature demonstrating this difference was the absence of a trail rated badge.

Ha, thanks guys, I may take a can of paint to the badge and Jeep logo. Taped off of course. I see the benefits already. Doesn't move the gas needle as much as it used to.

Mine measured 32, I checked twice, but says 33 all over the tire. Looks fine though.

I actually really like the MB72's. They remind me of a blacked out version of Mickey Thompson Classics.

But the point is that--from the outside--folks may think it's a 2wd pre-2010!! Just imagine the talk around town . . .

"Have you seen that guy with the jacked up 2wd Jeep?"
"I know, it's crazy. Why would you do all that to a 2wd?"
"I don't know, but it's clearly 2wd--no 'Trail Rated' badge."
"He must be weak. And women probably don't like him."

Yep . . . talk of the town by now, I'm sure.

No worries, that's common. Most tires actually measure bout an inch shy of the expected size when they're mounted. Your old tires were likely no different. Even the 32" BFGs that come on the Rubis don't actually measure out to 32".

Alright MTH, that made me spill Heineken regular through my nose, LOL!!!!!
That is definitely signature worthy.

The Bighorns actually measured 32.75, closer to 33" Under load. Maybe they were over inflated.

I may have the dealer air these down and recharge with Nitrogen again.

Maybe I'll have the Trail Rated badge made into a belt buckle, or something.

Assuming you put it on something like this . . . you might--might--fix the public perception issue. Might . . .

Also make sure your paints are awkwardly tight around the crotch area. Get started man--imagine what the townsfolk are saying!

Very nice! Like others have said, should spray the badge and emblem with Plasti-dip. Planned to do my Trail Rated badge and door locks this weekend, but didn't feel like messing with it.
