Play in steering

I just recently noticed I got a half of inch of play in my steering any one no what this is from ? And how can be fixed? 08 wrangler jk

I have about the same also. Stock 2011.

$10 says it's your trackbar bracket, either frame side or axle side.

have someone turn the steering wheel left to right while you watch those bolts. It's pretty easy to see.

I had some play in my steering and on some roads a bit of shimmy. replaced the drag link, all better now.
