Any questions? Lol! So this is what I spent today doing. I installed the poison spyder hood Louver per the directions which were very good. Took my time and it came out amazing in my opinion. Also added the vector UFO's. I'll get a close up pic tomorrow.

Looks great man! Seems like they map it out pretty clearly if it came out looking that well.

- does water get into the engine bay ?
- do you have a tuner to monitor temps, any change ?
- was this for looks or a reason ?

Looks fantastic

I'd love to install that louver on my 2013, but PSC doesn't make them yet :-(

I am sure water gets into the engine bay a little more, but just driving in the rain you get that.
No tuner to monitor temps.
Was for the look more than anything.

I was pretty nervous about cutting the hood but as long as you take your time and follow the directions it's cake.

Just an FYI for anyone else planning on Doing this, if you put masking tape down where you plan to cut and cut through the tape it will help prevent the paint from chipping. Looks good.

Nice work!!! I've been on the fence about this mod for a while now and its getting closer to reality now that I've seen this on your silver JK. Understanding you took your time how long did it take start to finish?

Yes, but it's minor. I have two washer nozzles. That's why I am surprised that it seems to be a big deal to make this small change to the PSC louver design.

Thanks, Might sound crazy but with breaks along the way, it took about 4-5 hours. Would have gone much quicker after I drilled the one inch holes if I had the correct power tool to use to cut out the large sections. The dremel worked, but took much longer than it should have.

Couple more pics.

Thanks for all the great comments. If anyone is looking to do this and is nervous about it, don't be. I am by no means a mechanic/fabricator or anything like that and it was pretty straight forward. I would be more than happy to help or answer questions if someone is doing this. And if you are local to my area. I'll help you cut your hood :-).
