Poison Spyder JK Brawler MID Front Bumper with Brawler Bar

Who has this bumper? Does it look as good as it does in the pictures? Looking at this or the jcr mid crusader.

One major diff the jcr air dam is only like 79$ The poison spider is 250+$ is it made of gold?

Any pic of either bumper on your jeep would be great. Also what did you do to paint it. Powder coat, rattle can, professional paint job.

Thanks

I'm ordering mine Wednesday and will post pics and info about painting in a week or 2 if you can wait that long. I know poison spyders products are very well built and very strong so you can't go wrong with it. Only down side is it comes in Bare metal so you have to get it painted or powder coated. Good side to that is no chipping or defects in paint that could be caused by the shipping.

How'd you paint it? Professional, rattle can, powder coat? And also if you don't mind about how much did the paint cost depending in your method of painting? Im actually looking into rhino coating it.

I had it smooth semi gloss powder coated. I had the front and rear bumper with the tire carrier done all at the same time with 2 coats of powder coating. Cost me $400. Might be a little on the expensive side, but it came out really nice.

Linex it. The texture is nice for footing traction when you need to access the engine bay

The local shop near where I live has this thing on display. VERY SOLID. A little to heavy for my taste but you'll never be able to hurt it under normal use.

Its very solid bumper. Much better then the factory plastic one. If you hit something with the PS Mid Brawler you will destroy it...LOL

I just ordered mine yesterday. Will be putting a zeon on it also. Have not decided on the rear bumper with tire carrier yet. Ace is 950 or so shipped and the PS with tire carrier is around 1400.00 or so and I have to get it coated.

Wow I was really sold on the AEV front bumper till I saw this thread. I really like this bumper and its much cheaper than the AEV one. Do you think you could fit a 20" LED Lightbar on that bumper ?? Hard to tell by the pics

Also, got the fairlead light mount from poison spyder. Here is what I want my front end to look like. Minus the Warn winch. Looks like a 10 or 20 inch light bar.

Looks great Dan! Good job. Did you paint it or have it painted? Trina's getting the Brawler Lite. I think she's going to paint it herself.

I painted it myself. Just take your time. It took 3 cans of primer and 3 of bead liner paint.

Sounds good. I think that's what she's doing as well. Did you sand and clean it first? Or just primer?

When I ordered my PSC Brawler Lite, it didn't even come in a box, it was just loose, rolling around inside the truck. Not a scratch on it. Yup, that's how solid this thing is.

Everyone who touches it says "d@mn, please don't hit me"
