Poison Spyder RockBrawler rear bumper owners

Plan on getting this for my rear bumper and had a few questions for people that run them already.
Wondering what majority did as far as either painting or powder coating it. I was wanting to powder coat but never had anything powder coated befor and was kinda iffy about it.

Also wondering if the spyder emblem on it is just recessed or goes all the way through the bumper.

And lastly what lights did u use in it and are u happy with them. Did u run them off ur reverse lights or wire a seperate switch to run them independently.

Have one but can't help a much. Have led, wired to reverse each light has 13 leds. Have leds in regular backup so the setup is really bright.
The spyder gos all the way through, has red reflective tape behind it. Working on a box to make it the 3rd brake light. Call Poison Spyder about the backup lights, they installed them.
Bumper is powder coat like a fine wrinkle finish to match the finders and rock sliders, again call PSC, they painted them or had them powder coated. Bumper was installed by Poison Spyder
I can take a closeup photo if you like

just checked lights Trucklites from Falconer NY "Model 10"

That's what I was thinking was putting a light where the spider is. My father in law is a metal fabricator so he could prob make me something. So u purchased the LEDs from ps to. That sounds like the ticket, getting them to powder coat and everything. Yes a pic would b great thank you.

I got mine PC'ed for $100.

I went with the LED lights that PS sold with the bumper. I have them wired to turn on when I'm in reverse. Honestly, I have the lights and LED reverse bulbs... they're definitely brighter

So ur saying the led reverse lights are brighter than the lights u got from PS for the bumper?

Yes, I noticed more of a difference with the LED reverse lights than the rear bumper lights.

Ok good to know. Here's something else that worries me. My front bumper is smooth gloss black, now I'm thinking the rear powder coated wouldn't look right. Decisions decisions.

Ok there ya go. Thanks. I'm not real familiar with powder coating. I just know its pretty durable but thought it always had that textured look to it.

Sorry to bring this thread back to life but the led reverse lights came with no instructions. When I contacted Poison Spyder to ask about instructions they told me it was a DIY install and if I didn't feel comfortable take it to someone who knows auto wiring. Spent $1400 on front and rear bumpers and get a response like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Don't have the wire colors with me. I searched and found the wire colors when I did mine. You can remove a tail light and find the wires. I wired each light to tail lights reverse light.

Yes, one to each tail light. I tapped into the positive (think it was white/ green) and ground that go into the reverse light on the tail light.
