Polynesian Green Jeep?

While searching for my future JKU, I across this stock photo which I thought was interesting. Probably just a fluke, but interesting nonetheless.

I'll pass, looks more blue than green to me.
Guess I better get off my butt and order my GECKO Rubicon before it's not available!

I don't think that's it. If you go to the link, the rest of the photos in the series are tan. It looks like someone was just playing around in photoshop to make it a "green" jeep as advertised, and didn't finish in time.

It's possible, but they tend to do that for a lot of the new introductory Jeep colors. If you look at a lot of ads for Gecko Green Jeeps for example, you often see Sahara tan stock photos involved.

Furthermore, Polynesian Green is a 2013 color, so they couldn't possibly have it on a 2012 in stock.

This my notion that this may be a stock photo that was accidentally used before it was ready for public release.

It's possible, but I highly doubt it since it has been so hard to get pictures of new colors in the past, even from dealers on this forum.

So I found a common thread after further investigation. This seems to be the stock photo many of the dealerships are using for Black Forest Green. Why? I don't know. Here's a link to another one using the same photo.
