Popping sound coming from JK B-pillar. Help?

Hey all. About 3 months ago I picked up a 2011 Wrangler unlimited JK after many years being "away" from the Jeep family.

Since getting my Jeep (and BEFORE lifting it 4") I continue to hear a popping or rattling sound coming from my B pillar - inside where the seatbelt mechanism lives. Has anyone else experienced this sound or know what I'm referring to? I've pretty much dis-assembled the whole seatbelt/B-pillar coverings and still can't find the source. Arrggggh.

Thanks!

Our 2012 Unlimited Sahara makes popping noises when we first drive it, coming from various places, at first I thought something was loose, now I'm thinking the rubber between hardtop and various body parts is just shifting due to temp differences, sort of like a "plate shift" earthquake. I don't hear a rattle, as much as just a few pops, a few minutes apart.

Been an issue since 2008, hit a but and there it is. But put some miles on it, the rest of the Jeep will end up doing the same, and pretty sonn, you won't notice it anymore :blackeye

I had a popping noise that sounded like it was coming from the b-pillar also. After tightening everything I could find, it didn't fix it. So one day I decided to tighten all the torx bolts around the cowl. I'll be damned if that didn't fix it. The ones that made the difference are the ones at the lower part of the cowl, not the a-pillar (where everybody gets the door ding). Wouldn't hurt to just give them a once over and see if that fixes it.
