possible new tires

I don't off road too much, and I am looking at some new tires. Does anyone know how the Goodyear wrangler silent armor ones are? They have a 50000 mile warranty on them

I don't know how much of an aggressive tread you're going for but I like my Goodyear Duratracs so far.

I don't really know off the top of my head. I do know they are very popular for jeeps that are mostly on the road with some offroading and have a nice aggressive look. Check out the pictures in my profile to see what mine look like.

I have owned several sets of Silent Armors and they are the best riding, most gripping, longest wearing tires I have ever used. I do not think you could go wrong for an "overall" good tire......I have gotten over 50K miles out of each set....

No but they have a workmanship warranty of 6 Years / Free replacement first year or 2/32" of wear, then prorated until 2/32" remaining depth

Mud tires (M/T's) for the most part do not have road life warranties because they aren't really road tires. Many M/T's try and make a better mud for the road for those that go from trail to road. Mud tires look awesome on a Jeep but they will never get the tread life of a road tire.

I have had them through various terrains and have not seen them fail me yet. I would not recommend them for serious off roading, but for the occasional trail, no issues....
