Power inverter?

My manual says there is a power inverter outlet in the center console...i don't see one...i only have the 24s option...was this optional or did it come with another package, sahara or rubi? I have a 2011 jku sport.
Thanks

If you have it the outlet should be facing the rear seats on the console and there should be a button on the dash to activate it.

If you don't have it then it would be a good guess to say it wasn't standard, right?

On our 2011 it is actually pointing forward towards the dash and it is right below the center console compartment lid.

my 2011 sport does not have the power outlet, but i can see the placeholder for it, which faces the dash in the center console. it is not standard. maybe i could pop one in, though...

It's standard on the Sahara and Rubicon.

My sport also has the outlets in the cargo area, just doesn't have it on the console. I did notice that in the saharas when I was shopping but opted for the sport for many reasons other than the outlet.

I also have the a Sport with 24s and was looking for mine as well. I found it INSIDE the console on the front wall. No idea why it's inside. The manual shows it on the front.

My mistake....It's just a 12v power outlet.

I need to get more familiar with my vehicle. I have a Cobra dual outlet 12v - 110/120v inverter that I used in my old truck for a while, and am contemplating having this installed. If there are inverter outlets already in my 09 Sahara, I think I'll go look for them! There is definitely a second 12v port across from the one where traditionally lighter would go, but didn't know about actual outlets...

Sweety I think they are in the front, 110 volt, but have never seen one in the back of a 2011 2 door, or 4 door as far as that goes. But I don't have my jeep yet so I am no really well versed in this issue. I am just talking the 110 outlet. Thanks Don
