Power window problem

Last night I went to the store and put both power windows down about 1" in my 12 Sport. Came out turned the Jeep on went to put the windows down and they would not go down but they would go up, then I tried to put them down but they wont go. I drove down the parking lot to get out of the way, I turned the Jeep off and restarted it and the windows worked fine up and down. I have noticed that once and a while the passenger window wont work and I have to hit the window switch a couple of times to get it to work. Is this just Chrysler electronics?

I've got a 2010 rubicon and the same problem. Call and check for warranty. Mines out of warranty but your should still be good. Mine is a two door and the part is 80 bucks. Good luck

If you're still under warranty, take it to dealer and at least have them note the issue, they will probably say they can't reproduce. Take it several times to note the issues (I know it's a hassle). But, even if you are out of warranty when the problem is found, they should still replace defective part due to history without costing you anything (I've had other issues with other Chrysler vehicles and convinced the dealers to do this).

I had something similar but not quite the same (also had issues with TPMS and blower motor) in my 08 (bought mine used with extended warranty). if you search forum for posts I started, you'll find it. After all was said and done, dealer replaced wireless control module, a couple tpms sensors and blower motor and mine hasn't happened since.

I've seem where TIPM has caused similar issues on older and newer JK's.
