Question Prepping tub for Monstaliner

I am getting ready for my 4 day weekend and have already pulled the rear seats and carpet. I am wondering what everyone has been doing about the wiring going to the hard top, rear sub/outlet and the front seats. I did a search and didn't find anything. Are you leaving them exposed/wrapping them/other????

Also, I assume I need to remove the "caulk" that is under the rear seats? I assume that was for sound insulation or heat control. What is the best way to remove that? Hammer and a chisel? Heat? What about the caulk around the seams on the sides?

Run a search for "monstaliner." I'm positive there's a thread where a guy did pics of his monstaliner install and so on, and I'm pretty confident he spoke about getting rid of the caulking. He had a mango tango jeep--you'll see it.
