Pricing on 2013 Rubicon

All - I am new to the forum here. Still debating between a 2013 Rubi and a 10th Anniversary. I plan to quickly lift and change out the wheels + add new bumper & tire rack if i buy the std. rubi.

If i buy the 10th, i may just do bigger tires and lift.

I am trying to figure out if 38.5K is a fair deal on the config below? Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you think its worth just going for the 10th...i'd appreciate input from those who have one and why?

The options i am looking at are
  • leather trimmed seats
  • 24R Connectivity pkg
  • dual top group
  • max tow pkg
  • supplemental front side air bags
  • mopar slush mats
  • auto trans
  • 4.10's
  • A/C Temp control
  • body color flares
  • body color hardtop
  • engine heater block
  • 430N
  • remote start

Go to cars.com, configure one exactly like what's in your list, look at the invoice price, subtract 1% off that price and see if it comes close to the $38,500 price you mentioned.

If not, you can join places like Tread Lightly and, after 30 days, you can use the Affiliate Rewards to buy your Jeep for 1% below invoice.

Invoice and below isn't necessarily the best deal; best being relative to your experience.

My advice? Option one out exactly as you want it and then pair it against the prepackaged ones available. That should give you an idea of which one would be a better fit for you.

Regarding price, after you've found one that's a perfect fit, agree on a price that takes into account your experience with the dealership, the sales person and your overall experience with the Jeep brand as a whole. Don't pay MSRP but at the same time, don't clean the table off leaving only breadcrumbs for the sales and the dealership.

If you do, one way or another, you will end up paying. And in my experience, after the sale, that cost is not worth the price.

Happy Jeep hunting.

33Street. I saw a few 2012 COD Rubicons at a dealer here in Indy :2dr, 6spd, 430N, soft top and they do not seem to want to deal. They have 2 of these and also one that has dual tops and is an auto trans.

I would figure with 3 of these on the lot with 2014's now open for ordering they they would need to move these.

What pricing are you seeing?
