Pro Comp 2.5" Comfort Ride Susp Lift

Has anyone installed one of these? Any additional mods needed to make this kit work or is it 100% complete? Comes with coils and shocks. ~$500.00 How is ride and handling. Upgrade from a std BB 2" lift (coil spacers)

I would go with Teraflex...or Rock Krawler 2.5" kit

Help deciding lift kit ???

I have read a few recommendations for the TerraFlex 2.5" BB Kit. Why is it better than the Pro Comp 2.5” Comfort Ride Tuned Suspension System ?

I dont have personal experience with Pro Comp but I have read some gripes about product quality and some rough riding.

Teraflex makes great quality stuff and they usually have a pretty complete kit. Meaning you wont need to purchase extra stuff. Rock Krawler has also just released a 2.5" kit.


Just keep in mind if you go with the pro comp you will need to buy longer sway bar links for the rear sway bar. Then you would take the old rear links and put them up front. They fit perfect and are identical to the fronts just longer.

Lift Kits ?

Thanks KBR97 for answering.
This is really a tough decision because I don't want any problems down the road. I now have another shop highly recommending the 2.5" Rough Country BB. The Pro Comp was from 4 Wheel Parts, so I guess they all try to push one brand over another just to win a trip to Vegas or something!

They are promoting lower end products...I read a post somewhere about someone installing a rough country lift and within a short time the finish on all the pieces was comig off and everything was starting to rust.
I would say that these 3 companies are the ones you should look into for some real quality stuff. You will pay more in price but you will be happier in the end with products that will last. And they all offer a 2.5 in kit.

I just bought a 95 YJ that has the Pro Comp 2 1/2 lift and shocks. It' very rough ,so much so that I'll be changing the shocks asap.
