Problem with the 430N Media Center

The only issue we've had with The Freezer thus far is maintaining the photos that we upload via USB. We upload the photos we want, set the default photo to the Flavor of the Day, and we're good to go! Right? Not so much. Every three days, almost like clockwork, all photos just disappear!

While this is only a mild irritation in my mind, the reaction by the Service Manager makes me wonder. Once we told him what was going on, he said that he wanted us to bring it in for the next available service date, which is this coming Monday. He even stated that they may have to keep it somewhere between the whole day Monday or as many as a "few" days.

His reaction to this issue notched up my concern level, so here I am! Has anyone heard of or dealt with this issue? Is it truly something to be that concerned about that they "may" have to keep The Freezer for a few days? That just does not sound good to me....

Other than the Case of the Magically Disappearing Photos, I adore The Freezer.

I've never put a photo on mine. But someone who is very likely to have an answer to your question is a WF member named xsdbs.

He's kind of the sat/nav unit guru on the forum. PM him...he's a good dude.

Thank you for pointing me in his direction! A good buddy at work thinks this could be the first the Service Manager has heard of this issue and there may be an issue with the media center itself. We'll see!

Thanks again! By the way, your Jeep is awesome! Been drooling over it for some time now. Very well done indeed.

We have gotten as far as some Plasti-dipping on the grill and some night shade on the marker lights and turn signals. It's a start! Albeit, a cheap start, but a start nonetheless......

Thank you.

Once you start, it has a tendency to snowball.

That happened to my 430N. I experienced it for the first time the other day. I'm waiting to see if it happens again or if it's something else.
