Brand new jeep used turle wax ice on it. I live in central fla. my irrigation leaves water spots even when I wash it they will not come off. Is there a product I can use like a wax that will make it possible to remove with just a wash or at least give it more protection.

The problem is not your wax. The problem is the water. it's a Hard Water problem. And if you say they won't be removed by a simple wash, it's because they are below the surface.

you need to use a light paint cleaner with a microfiber applicator pad to gentle clean the paint. After this, you need to re wax the car.

Then, you need to park somewhere else.

Seriously, there is nothing to do about this. Hard Water will always get hard on clear coat.

Same situation here. After we wash jeep at home if we don't immediately dry the vehicle it spots terrible. High calcium and other minerals in our water. Wax after dry with ice and it works great
I never thought we would get the spots off

You do know that is not real wax
The only thing I might put that shit on would be the plastic. Protecting wax must be dryed and buffed off.
If that crap was that good don't you think the big wax company's like Meguiars would have copied it.

I've got hard water. I always dry the Jeep with a chamois (or shammy if your still boycotting France ;)) I also have a white Jeep. Can't see the hard water spot. :D

Yeah, I think the spray on stuff is great for a quickie wax. A good quality wax job a couple of times a years should help protect the paint and help get the spots off. Or pay a good detailer $100 bucks or so to do it.

Hard water spots are very tough to deal with. Lots of good advice here. I use the ICE stuff BETWEEN my paste waxing. I also use the drying waxing "sprays" sometimes.

Bottom line the "hard water" carries chemicals your paint doesn't need.....I hope your Jeep is not BLACK!!! GOOD LUCK!!

Mothers clay bar system will get all the crap off the finish. I lived in FL for 6 years. I got real tired of wiping off the water and polishing the car so when I used the a car cover during the night when I had the sprinklers going, plus, that FL sun eats the crap out of the paint, which this also helped. I have 2 show cars and a show bike that I just started using the Chemical Guys products, which I really like the shine, but don't know about the durability and don't care because they're in a controlled environment. On my outside Jeep I use NXT Tech wax which really holds up for 4 to 6 months and has a deep shine.

I had the same problem when I lived in Florida. The best thing you can do is give it a good wash with Dawn and use a clay bar to remove all of the contaminants. Then get a bottle of Xzilon from eBay. After Xzilon use a good quality wax like Collinite. The water in FL is so harsh that even the windows will get spots. Xzilon and a good was will also help with love bugs.

Just wanted to add that there are waxes and sealants... sealants generally give better protection for a longer period of time.

I really got into detailing after getting a Camaro last year. I now clay, polish, seal then wax where the wax is more for finish than protection.

I've used and like a bunch of the Chemical Guys stuff. I'm currently using Blackfire WetDiamond sealant. I've read RejeX is another good option that's cheaper and can be found on places like Amazon.

There's a ton of options that really boil down to personal preference. It does seem though that anything you'll get at places like autozone or walmart won't be that great.

Have a little experience here as well to add. I have numerous products for auto paint care and appearance. One of them is "Ice"... It all comes down to your time and preference for wax and sealant. Certainly you get what you pay for, both in time and money. Waxes both synthetic and natural will produce a deep look and will last less time then a sealant. The sealant is easier to apply and will give the appearance of a wet look. My typical application is wash, dry, clay bar, wash, dry, paint cleaner, wax 3X, sealant. Then maintain with sealant 30-60 day intervals. I use P21s cleaner and wax and then I use ice as a sealant. I use meguiars detail spray for touch up.

None of this is recommended for the JK tho!!!

If you trying to eliminate the water spots, purchase a de-ionizing system, about $400 bucks and use it to wash!

I don't think the OP is referring to having spots after he washes it. I think the problem he is having is that when the sprinklers come on, they spray the Jeep and dries out leaving water marks. This was exactly what was happening to me when I lived in FL. Other than changing the timer on the sprinkler system so that it comes on when the vehicle is not there...well, use something like Xzilon or Luxcare or one of those paint protection chemicals that will help avoid the stuff eating into your clearcoat. That, along with a wax here and there will help out tremendously.

I would be very careful using Dawn or any other dish soaps to wash your Jeep. Take a look at this for an example of what dish soap can do to your paint over time:

Detailing Myth Busters Ep. 1 - Chemical Guys - YouTube

Dish soap is designed to clean up pots and pans, not Jeeps (or any other vehicle).

...and to the poster who asked if they can wax a new Jeep immediately, the answer is yes. As a matter of fact, most new vehicles need a good wash, clay, and wax due to rail yard contaminants. Clay also works well on water spots. Just be sure to apply a good sealant/ and or wax afterwards.
