I like the "MOUNTAIN" decal you added. The guys at work keep telling me to rip the original mountain sticker off. But I don't think it looks bad with the Mango Tango color.

I just don't get it. The mountain and the islander stickers are very unique and kewl. I don't get why people want to remove them.

The bright orange sticker on a green truck was very loud. I wish they made the sticker a two tone grey and black combo.

I agree. Why buy those editions if you don't like the stickers? Furthermore who cares what others think? Personally I don't care for Rescue Green, however I think Rescue Green and Mango Tango are the best looking colors for the Mountain package.

I like the orange on mine. I have black and it adds a little color to the rest of the black out look. Catches the eye I think

Funny thing is, I could see them coming with stickers like the rubi, and people putting these on after market. One of the first things i did was gps the coordinates and thought it kewl it was the hawaiin islands...fit with the tiki man! And the blue stitching on the islander is a nice touch.

There's more to the editions than the stickers, of course. But in any event, of the four Mountain colors (Deep Blue, MT, Black, and Rescue Green), I just didn't think the orange stickers worked with the Deep Blue.

See the attached pic--dare you to tell me it would've been better in orange! It's new from Pixel Decals, and a total rip off of the idea for Robd225's sticker, which was posted earlier (thanks Rob!).

I personally still like the orange sticker btr. But to each his own Jeep, that we can customize them to our taste is one of the greatest things about a Jeep

You're exactly right. I've owned three cars prior to this Jeep, and I never changed a single thing on them but tires and oil. But this Jeep is a whole different animal and I'm loving it. To each his own.

Oh, and you're WRONG, WRONG, WRONG about the orange. (I kid . . . .)

I emailed Jeep today trying to get an official build volume...broke down by color, and 2 door or 4 door. I'll post when I get a response.

When my wife and I bought our 2010 Mountain (my wife liked the color and the fact that it was 4 door) there were only 2 on the lot, and they set next to each other. The other one was a 2 door (also Mango Tango). It's already been off-road (the dealership runs a Jeep Jamboree every year. My avatar is from a flat spot in the trail).

As an aside, my wife is disabled. Two full-replacement knees and one full-replacement hip. Most times she can get in the Jeep with little or no trouble. But we keep a folding step-stool in the pocket behind the passenger seat for those times when it does get difficult.

Oh, and she can drive it, and pretty well, too. However, she won't go out on the trails with me.

If it sways you at all, I actually re-did the decal with a larger font since the pic from the prior post was taken (see pic attached to this post).

But, if you and Adian want to continue being WRONG, WRONG, so WRONG, then that's fine, no problem . . . .

I'm kidding of course. The orange decal inspires much less passion in me than many other Mountain owners. Folks often love it or hate it. I'm largely indifferent beyond believing it was a bit too sharp for the blue on my Jeep.

BUT, I also don't want to hijack this thread. Looking forward to seeing if we can get any production numbers . . . .

Jeep said they can't release the build numbers. I explained it was for several mountain owners and they wouldn't budge. Sorry guys....I tried. They made it sound like production numbers are top secret....dumb if you ask me.

When I first saw the rescue green mountain two door, I thought it was the ugliest thing on the planet. Loved the rims and wheels but hated everything else. Four days later I came back and took it for a test drive. When pulled over for speeding on the test drive, the cop asked "What's up with the color?" By the time he let me off with a warning, he said, "I kind of like the color." Needless to say, drove home with it that afternoon. I think the more you look at them, along with the stickers, the more they grow on you. Love the look of mine now.

Same... I didn't know if I would like the rescue green but once you see it in person and in the sun it's awesome.

As far as the sticker goes i'm not sure if i'm going to keep it. After lots of searching I was able to find a new mountain edition a couple towns over about a month ago. I find it works with the rescue green better than most of the other colors
