Can't wait

Until then, before you order the "Creeper" vinyl lettering, you may rethink that title. Sounds like a rusty ice cream van parked down the street from a school yard.

New engine is IN and purring like a kitten! Working the logistics of buying and shipping the Jeep, locating and shipping the new engine at reasonable cost, plus watching the growing pile of expensive parts had me doubting my master plan of building an awesome Jeep for $15K. The engine went in so smooth I saved several hours of labor today and they were able to use that time to install the grill mesh, remove the fender flares and all the factory decals. New wheels, tire and bumpers will be here Monday. The battery sounds weak but that may be from sitting....

At the rear, an axle seal was bad and had soaked the parking brake pads, the rear brake pads were shot and the soft top I was hoping to save had rotted out where it was bungeed to the upright as the previous owner ran without windows....Name: DSCF0187[1].JPG

Very nice! You did a great job. I no longer use the word budget when it does to mods! I have replaced budget with forecast! It feels a little better when I go over my "forecast"!
