yeah but at least you do not need to open the drain plugs to get the water out--we can just shovel it out

I saw this during a Google search, was talking to a fellow Jeeper that got pulled over here locally (I won't mention where so no appearance of negativity can be inferred towards the officer) the "town" is well known for this type of enforcement.
I am no kid (own an Insurance Agency) and run doorless anytime I can. Was pulled over the other day because of a backing up an exit ramp incident, had to get my Wife to a Doctor appointment and the State Trooper was not happy with me.
Turned out fine after he calmed down but, he never mentioned my lack of doors. I know (insure) several police officers and am friends with my local Chief. NOBODY I have asked in Law Enforcement either cares or is of the opinion that there is any problem whatsoever with a doorless Jeep. Most say "Aren't they supposed to be, isn't that why you bought it?"
I find most police officers to be reasonable people. If you are being an A-Hole they will pull you over and rightly so. Mind your business AND your manners - no problem.

I've really never had any unreasonable dealings with officers, and I even open carry everywhere.

Most have been very pleasant. I try to go out of my way to cooperate and make their job easier without infringing on my own rights. If I'm pulled over in my vehicle, my pistol gets unloaded, slide locked and placed on the dash. Do I have to do that? No. But they always appreciate it.

Truthfully when I'm pulled over, it's usually because I did something wrong. If I ever get wrongly cited, I would calmly disagree with the officer so it would be on record, and then argue it in the court, where it's supposed to be done. Not on the roadside.
