Love the paint. Wheels and bumpers aren't my taste, but as long as you like it, that's all that matters. Welcome to the club.

it should look better once they paint the hood and fenders and get them installed.

I love the guys who always have to chime in with how they could build the same thing or better for less. I always imagine them with cut off plaid shirts and a wad of chew under their lip. Not that all guys who build their own jeeps are like that. It's just the ones who feel the need to constantly remind everyone what they can do, as if we'll all otherwise forget how cool they are.

Anyway, to the OP, cool Jeep!

I like the flatties it has now (then again I have those too). I do like your choice in wheels for it though, those are so much better than the all black look. I have a friend running the same wheels on a billet JKU. It's going to look really nice with the new hood on it too.

You all should really stop acting so entitled. It's a very old school way of thinking, especially with today's growing skilled population. I see old guys with your entitled attitudes get replaced weekly at my work. The company says their job role is no longer needed... just ignore the 26 year old who came in for half the money with a lesser job title that's now handling all of the previous guy's duties.

Do ya'll now understand what luck really is?
I don't attribute anything that I have or accomplished to luck. I've created my situation and destiny. Maybe I'm that "young guy," but I'm definitely not doing my job for less money.

BTW, nice Jeep, OP. I understand not wanting to consume yourself with the headache and stress of building it yourself. Some people don't understand the value of convenience.

Great jeep. I was originally going to go with a gloss black Starwood but after talking with them wanted more than what I was getting. I went with a billet rubicon instead and had it customed locally. Warranty issues as well as the issues already stated of the paint worry me. Plus if and when (cause there already has) there is something wrong who works on it? If your not local to them. Gret jeep though I can't hate cause its fn sweet.

That blue paint is absolutely badass, period.

Personally, I'd stick with the flat fenders, though. Seriously, that thing looks f'n great in the pics... what new fenders are you adding?

I live in Dallas and I want to say your jeep will be delivered shortly. I saw this today at 5:30 on Dallas north tollway and 635. I read this post when you first posted pics and when I saw it on the truck I had to snag a few pics. This has to be it right???

I love it. Especially the color. I like the idea of the Kevlar. I had a black Mustang GT and it drove me crazy worrying about the paint getting dinged, scratched. I like the flat gloss look of it also.

HAH!! I work at spring valley and the Tollway, I know exactly where you snapped that pic! I saw another Starwood yesterday, a red Kevlar one, right at the north bound on ramp to the tollway from spring valley. Good times.

I work for Chase at spring valley and the tollway and I see Starwood jeeps every week it seems. I think I have about 10 different pictures in my phone of them on the road. I always know when I see their paint jobs. When I saw this one I already knew who's it was. I figured when i saw another wrangler forum members jeep that he would like to see it on a truck being delivered. The color is awesome, my pics of it are not. I was in traffic of course, so I sped up to catch it before he went west on 635. Now I am just saving so I can get out of my car and back into the jeep family. Here is my last jeep and the next one will be a rubicon when I save enough for it.

Those are my old apartments (1st pic) in the background. I should charge a small fee to go test drive all the Jeeps since I live and work within a mile of Starwood.

Awesome Jeep. Congratulations!
Love that color. What was the original color? Black? I'm wondering what color the door Jams, engine compartment, underside of hood, etc. are.

I'm curious how they disassemble, strip, prepare, respray and reassemble these Starwood Jeeps. I'm familiar with restorations, therefore I'd be interested in seeing the progressive photos.

Nice color selection on their website... however I'm more interested in the process.

Taking a vehicle down for prep and respray isn't cheap.

Those Starwood Jeeps look bad ass. When I first started looking for a JKU I eyed those bad boys on Ebay. But, once I saw the Buy It Now price I tucked my tail between my legs and figured eventually I'd build my own at my own pace. Congrats though! Looks sweet...
