Thats a great way to spend $15,000 for $5000 worth of smittybilt crap. I live not far from them and their junk sits on their lot for a long time. It's mostly only the teenagers of the wealthy here who buy them, that and the wannabe rappers..lol.

Jeep looks good! Congrats!

Some of it isn't for me, but the Kevlar paint deal is kinda neat.

Enjoy!

I would love to have them just paint me a Jeep in that Kevlar paint & then just do every other mod myself.

To be honest if I was buying a vehicle for my wife i would have done the same thing as OP & just gone the already built route. There's no way I'm going to spend hours trying to find good deals & hours installing stuff myself when I won't even be the daily driver.

It affects me not at all. I wasn't judging the guy, just stating my opinion of those Jeeps from what I've seen of them in the area. It's his money and he's welcome to spend it however he sees fit, I just wouldnt personally waste money that way.

It's not that I'm lazy but you must have a lot of time on your hands because I don't. Lol. There's no way I'd be able to sit there on forums every night thinking, "man this will look so good on my wife's car." Whatever free time I have on forums I spend it visualizing my car.

Congrats on the Jeep my friend. Seems to be a lot of haters in here. Most of us don't have that sort of money to spend on a Jeep. I applaud you and will look forward to being more pics. I just upgraded from a TJ to a JKU and love it.

Actually it probably is a sound financial decision compared to most cars based on the strong resale values and generally lousy lease deals. In any event, I don't think buying a Starwood jeep for close to $50K is any different than those of us buying fully optioned 10A Rubicons with MSRPs over $47K.

You have a good point.

I was making reference to the wrangleritis that starts after ownership.

What junk would that be? Starwood or Jeep in general. I see you called ALL Jeeps junk in a previous post. Do the Starwood junk sit as long as your Jeep did? Hell. I'd be pissed at people with nice looking, running jeeps too after the problems you've had with your jeep, especially after stating its your last one. As far as making "better financial decisions", this is what the wife wants so she will get it. It's a good thing I've made fantastic financial decisions over the years that purchasing a Starwood won't affect me in the slightest. As far as lazy, my time is worth money. Paying someone else to deal with the BS to onsey twosey parts together takes time away from my business or fun time. Don't make me hit you with my wallet! Lol.

I mean seriously. Why do people post this dribble.

There's tons of pics of the blue JKU's paint on eBay, it's in the "Completed listings" section. I do like the color, it's different! Currently, Starwood Motors has 102 recently completed listings of conversion Jeeps, most of which have been re-listed over and over. There's only 1 that has actually been sold on eBay recently, and it sold for $42,888. That says something!

That jeep you listed is the one I purchased with the exception of the changes I made. (AEV hood, fenders, larger wheels tires, heated seats, nav). I did NOT purchase this through eBay and I think people here assume buyers just go and pay the asking price a dealer lists? I made all those changes, (except hood and fenders which are being shipped and installed locally on Starwoods dime) and paid in the upper $40's.....and Starwood paid for the shipping to NY. So, as far as I am concerned....I am happy with the deal I have.

I was very worried what all the people who could no longer get a new H3 were going do, thank goodness for Starwood, keeping the soccer-moms safe in those parking lots with those little concrete thingys.

BLING BLING wooo hooo

WOW ! ! ! $110,000.00 For a Smittybilt display model ! ! ! ! Anyone who buys one of these and supports this company has some serious penis envy.

This is the best post on the entire thread. I hope your wife loves the Jeep, and frequently shows you exactly how much she loves it!

Maybe this will shut up the guys who have nothing better to do than come in here and post useless dribble.
