Pulling my hair out,,,, someone post a link.

ok so saturday i pancaked the the lower control are mount on the FRAME. im am looking for skids for the control arm mount on the FRAME, not the axle ( those i have found ) anyone have a link to were i can find skids for the control mount on the FRAME.

WOW, GM-I've got skids on all my LCAs, but not on the frame bkts-

The primary point for the LCA skids is the axles, cause they are the "exposed" moving part-any frame skids for the LCAs would have to be welded to the frame sides, because you couldn't restrict the "downward" motion of the LCA-

If there are some bolt on--I've never seenem, but probably cause I've never looked, check with AEV, or !

There are some ways to reinforce the brackets out there that I've seen, but I don't remember seeing any skids. Seems like some carefully measured, cut and drilled channel iron could be made to work failry inexpensively.

You could just get a sheet of half inch steel plate about 8'x20', park your Jeep on it and strap it down. No more worries about damage from below.
