Quadratec LED Headlights and Foglights

Hi All,

I am looking to get new headlights and foglights, and am considering this Quadratec package:

Quadratec® LED Headlamp Upgrade Conversion & LED Fog Lights Kit for 07-17 Jeep® Wrangler JK | Quadratec

does anyone know if the fog lights in this are the ones on the bumper, or the ones on the grill? I get thrown off by the option for amber fog lights. why would I want amber fog lights?

I thought the ones on the grill were just directionals, and the actual fog lights are on the bumper.

Thanks!

Lights on the bumper are fogs. As you have noted, the amber light below the headlamps are the turn signals/directionals.

any idea what this package actually comes with? it advertises as fog lights, but why would they offer the amber color? that is what is throwing me off

Just doesn't have the "Q" logo in the center.

Hi all,

The Quadratec LED headlight & foglight combo includes headlights and fog lights. The lights shown in the grille are your basic factory front turn signals. The lights shown in the bumper are the Quadratec LED fog lights.

Amber fog lights are a better choice for use in inclement weather such as fog, snow, rain, etc. They help to improve visibility. Amber light basically reduces the optical workload of our eyes and reduces glare as well.

Between the Stealth & Standard headlights the difference is purely aesthetics. On the Standard version the "Q" logo and allen bolt heads are silver. On the Stealth version they are blacked out.

If you have any other questions, please let me know. If you would like a discounted quote, please either PM me with your first & last name, address, zip, year of your Wrangler and the part number(s) you would like to order; E-mail my sales rep Rob at: RobW@quadratec.com or call us at 1-800-745-2348. For the latter two mention that you are a forum user to receive the forum discount.

Thank you & have a great night!

-Rick

We updated the reflector design and the LED chips used. They provide an increased output as well as a better beam pattern. The Gen I's are great, but the Gen II's are even better!

I installed the Quadratec Stealth LED headlights about a month ago and couldn't be happier...especially for the price compared to some of the other brands I was looking at.

I agree with Roll Tide Rubicon. I installed my Stealth LED headlights and fog lights back in September. They are fantastic!

Looks like fog questions answered. I will, tell you, I've had my Quadratec LEDs since they first came out, they are still great. Also, Quadratec stands behind their product and will go the extra mile, if you do have issues.

Do the quadratec LED's require a separate anti-flicker harness? If so, does it come with that, or is it something you have to purchase separately?

with the led lights and driving lights, how do you aim them so they are not blinding oncoming drivers?

Anti-flicker harness was included. Truly plug and play.

There's a torx screw on each headlight for adjustments. I have a small lift and 35's so I need about two turns on the screws to lower the beam on mine. Very easy to do. You'll want to do that before putting your grill back on though.

since these are brighter then stock, where to you aim the lights to? or is it fine to let them hit where stock lights hit?

Mine are about where stock was. I put a piece of tape on a wall where my stock lights hit from 20' away then installed the LEDs and adjusted them to that point.
