Quadratec Overhead Storage

Hi! Has anyone ordered this? What do you guys think? Does it rattle or feel janky, or is it a good addition to the jeep?

Vertically Driven Products 31700 - VDP Overhead Storage Console for 87-13 Jeep® Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK & Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Thanks!

I seriously considered one of these, especially considering there is no place to put any stuff in the 2DR. My only concern was that there is no lock on it for instances when the top is off. If they added a lock to it, I'd be much more inclined to buy one.

A lock for the straps that hold it down or a lock for the compartment doors?

It looks like junk, and holds little if anything...

Sorry if I was a bit over the top, but it just doesn't look like a quality product...

The VDP Overhead Storage Console is great for storing small items like sun glasses, pens/pencils, toll tickets, etc. If you are looking for something a bit more secure, I would suggest the Tuffy Overhead Console (designed for electronics).

To receive free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states, use coupon code SaharaTango on the Quadratec Promo Codes link.

Yeah, I got it(sorry about the sideways pics) and I only use it when I going out for awhile. It is a thick plastic, not heavy, but there is no way to lock anything. I throw my shades, phone, and whatever other loose items I have in pockets up there. So far, It's stayed closed even when getting bumped around.
