I had my Quadratec Tacktik front bumper installed today. It looks great. It did have a few chips in the powder coat.

I have a shoulder injury so I paid someone to install it. Thanks to Herb at Trailtech 4X4.

@GY5000 I think this is one of the best, Close as one can get to owning a cheaper version of the factory 10A Bumper. However, we have our hearts set on the 10A and we're willing to pay for it. So unless Tacktik actually gives us one of their bumpers.. we'll have to pass.
Reason, I would have expected to see something a bit more "tactical" from a company named Tactitik. The edges seem a bit harsh, not as rounded like the 10A and the bumper even appears more like a "toy" instead of the real deal. I think if one was allowed to redesign this bumper without the harsh edges and include more substance, we might consider it in the future.

This bumper is not a toy. Neither the 10a nor the Tactik bumper will provide you with the protection of some of the 3/8" bumpers.

I wheel in sand 5 times a year. I don't need a bumper to bash rocks with. However, it looks significantly better than the factory bumper which someone backed into.

I have the Rugged Ridge Spartacus which I believe is an except copy except for the removal end sections. I also agree with you about the plastic crush cans. They seem to be the weak point of the bumper. Hopefully they do not dis-color or become brittle with age.

I also have the winch plate which I plan installing with a Warn Zeon 10s this weekend. It it appears it will be a tight fit but Rugged Ridge mentioned they test fitted a Zeon in the bumper. The fairlead you have installed seems to sit flush with the bumper, what version do you have? The Warn version supplied with the Zeon will not sit flush since the bumper has an smaller indention than the Warn fairlead

I don't even know what fairlead that is. I only ordered it to use with the AEV fairlead license plate mount. It is probably the cheapest fairlead offered by Quadratec.

BTW, I do intend on mounting a winch with a synthetic line in the future. I have a bunch of overgrown shrubs that need to be pulled out.

That would look great. It should be noted that this bumper uses the factory crush cans. The plastic covers over the factory crush cans are Spring loaded to move about half an inch to avoid breaking the crush can covers.
